We have developed applications to collect data remotely from GPRS-enabled energy meters. Data had to be periodically collected and the application necessitated development of services on the client’s server and development of meter protocols. Some of the meters include Elster, EM_Lite, EDMI, Kamstrup and Iskraemeco.
